DEVELOPING DIGITAL COMPETENCES OF TEACHERS  




LTT Activity
The First Learning Teaching Training activity of the BEBL Project was realised in Konya, Turkey between 3-7 April, 2017. Four participants from Lithuania and five other participants from different schools in Konya were present.

The Learning Teaching Training Activity started with the opening speech of the Director of Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education Mr. Mukadder GÜRSOY. He gave some information about the Project, importance of participating in this kind of international proejects and benefits of using digital plaftorms for educational purposes.
Then participants from Lithuania introduced themselves and stated that they were happy to be involved in such Project and admired Turkish hospitability. Later Emrah KOÇAK who is the coordinator of the Project from Turkey gave detailed information about BEBL Project, the tasks of the partners countries, what kind of activities have been carried out so far in scope of that Project, information about Erasmus+ Projects in general. Then İbrahim AYDIN, who is the responsible person for the development of BEBL E-learning platform; digital Competences for teachers, introduced the participants about how to use e-learning Moodle platform of the Project. He gave general information about

On Monday and Thursday, İbrahim AYDIN from Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education gave a general information about the content of Information and Content Creation competence areas. Then the content was developed and tested with the contribution of each participant.
       
Pelin YILDIRIM an English teacher from Cumra Anatolian High School introduced Flipsnack application which is online editor equipped with advanced features that make your magazine more engaging and give an opportunity to Create an entire flipbook from scratch, using its intuitive drag and drop based editor.

On Tuesday and Friday, Pelin YILDIRIM an English teacher from Cumra Anatolian High School gave a general information about the content of Problem Solving and Safety competence areas. Then, the content was developed and tested with the contribution of each participant.

       

Tuba AYDIN from Sems-i Tebrizi Religious Education High School for Girls introduced Canva application which allows to easily Create beautiful designs, documents, presentations, social media graphics, and more with thousands of beautiful layouts with its drag-and-drop features and Professional layouts. In her presentations, she mainly focuced on creating short films by using photos. 

 

Tuba AYDIN from Sems-i Tebrizi Religious Education High School for Girls introduced to the partipants Kahoot application, which is a free game-based learning platform that makes learning fun to learn in any subject, in any language, on any device, for all ages. She gave some information about how to Create some activities in the classrooms by using this web-site. She also informed participants about some of its educational benefits such as engaging students in a fun learning environment.  

On Wednesday, Tuba AYDIN from Sems-i Tebrizi Religious Education High School for Girls gave a general information about the content of Communication competence areas. Then, the content was developed and tested with the contribution of each participant.

Then Pelin YILDIRIM an English teacher from Cumra Anatolian High School introduced participants the "Plickers Tool". How to Create classrooms in this web-tool and how to use this portal for classroom activities. She informed participants that is really powerfully simple tool that lets teachers collect real-time formative assessment data without the need for students devices.
